Science Comes Alive for IB PYP Students at the GeDee Science Museum
At Manchester International School, learning goes beyond the classroom, and our recent field trip to the GeDee Science Museum was no exception! Students of IB PYP1 to PYP5 explored science like never before, engaging with interactive exhibits and hands-on models that brought their Unit of Inquiry, How the World Works, to life.
Students delved into key concepts such as energy, motion, and mechanics through fun, real-world applications. From operating mechanical models to participating in a hands-on workshop where they built simple machines, every moment was packed with discovery and excitement.
This immersive experience not only sparked curiosity but also nurtured teamwork and critical thinking, leaving our young learners inspired to explore further. Teachers were thrilled to see classroom lessons turn into unforgettable, real-world learning moments.
At Manchester International School, we are committed to creating such enriching experiences that ignite a lifelong passion for discovery. The GeDee Science Museum trip was a shining example of our dedication to making learning meaningful, joyful, and memorable.
