When I was in DP1, reflection felt like something teachers asked us to do after every assignment. I understood how to reflect, but I wasn't sure why it mattered. Now, halfway through DP2, I think I finally have the answer.

A DP Student’s Perspective When I first told people, I wanted to take Film Studies in the IB Diploma Programme, the reactions were mixed. Some thought it sounded exciting, while others immediately asked, “But what career will that lead to?” For a long time, I felt like subjects were supposed to fit into clear categories: practical or creative, serious or optional. Film Studies changed the way I thought about learning completely.

Where Every Colour Found a Story! Splashing Nature with Colours! The world became our classroom, and nature became our muse as our young learners celebrated Hues of Nature Day with boundless joy and imagination. Beneath ribbons dancing in the breeze and surrounded by nature's vibrant palette, little hands transformed simple colours into beautiful expressions of creativity through colouring, leaf printing, nature brush painting, colour hunts, and artistic explorations. Every laugh echoed with discovery, every masterpiece reflected wonder, and every moment celebrated the magic of learning through play. From tiny strokes of colour grew big imaginations, proving that when children connect with nature, they don't just create art—they paint memories, celebrate the beauty of the earth, and bring the hues of nature to life.

The IB Three-Way Conference created a powerful platform for learners to demonstrate voice, choice, and ownership as they reflected on their progress and articulated their understanding with confidence. Meaningful dialogue between students, parents, and teachers fostered deeper connections, while the collaborative goal-setting process encouraged learners to take responsibility for their growth, reinforcing the true essence of inquiry-driven and student-centered learning.

We wrapped up Knowledge in the Real World: A TOK Journey today, and our DP students blew us away. Through carefully selected everyday objects, they explored how knowledge is shaped by experience, perspective, culture, and context. From a paintbrush to a passport, each item became a window into deeper questions about truth, bias, and belief. The exhibition celebrated everything TOK stands for: inquiry, critical thinking, and the curiosity that drives real understanding. need title for this content Huge thank you to our school leadership, parents, and community for joining us and engaging with our young scholars.
