Field Trip to FM Hub Digital Recording Studio

Manchester International School, an IB continuum school in Coimbatore, believes in bringing learning to life through real-world experiences. Our IB PYP-4 and PYP-5 students recently had an enriching field trip to the FM Hub Digital Recording Studio at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, perfectly aligning with their unit How We Express Ourselves.

PYP-4 students, diving into the world of digital media, enjoyed hands-on learning at The Green Screen Video Floor. They experimented with virtual backgrounds and video production techniques, discovering how technology enhances creative communication. Their journey continued at the Audio Recording Studio, where they explored sound recording and editing, gaining valuable insights into multimedia presentations.

Meanwhile, PYP-5 students, investigating global art forms, found inspiration in various artistic techniques showcased at the studio. At the Preview Theatre, they reviewed and critiqued multimedia projects, drawing connections between digital media and global art forms.
