Growth and collaboration in classroom
In one of the most exciting activities in our classroom, students were asked to choose their favorite SDGs and reflect on their understanding through a simple yet innovative method: post-it notes. It was a joy to see their enthusiasm as they eagerly brainstormed and expressed their ideas. Each student brought their unique perspective, demonstrating how deeply they understood the SDGs, whether it was about clean energy, quality education, or good health and well-being.
As a teacher, witnessing this level of engagement was rewarding. The activity became an opportunity for us to grow together (students and teacher) by exploring these global goals collaboratively. Their creativity in presenting their reflections was truly inspiring, as they came up with visual representations, symbols, and even short phrases to articulate their thoughts.
This interaction went beyond just another classroom task. It fostered a sense of teamwork and a shared vision of the future, making the learning process dynamic and fulfilling. Encouraged by their progress, I am now applying for a certificate to make the experience even more professional, adding a layer of recognition to our collective efforts.
The journey towards understanding and reflecting on SDGs doesn't just end with the post-it notes. It marks the beginning of a more profound exploration of how we can actively contribute to the world around us.
