A Six-Week Climate Action Journey
In collaboration with the globally recognised Climate Action Project led by Dr. Jennifer Williams and Koen Timmers, our students embarked on a six-week transformative journey. The project, endorsed by the United Nations and supported by visionaries like Jane Goodall and David Attenborough, offered a platform to learn, reflect, and act on climate change.
The students explored the causes, effects, and solutions to climate change through interactive research and creative expressions such as posters, drawings, and presentations. Their enthusiasm extended beyond the classroom as they planted saplings and actively participated in an enlightening webinar. Here, they exchanged ideas with peers worldwide and posed thoughtful questions to expert speakers, fostering a global perspective.
The project concluded with a heartfelt initiative "The Climate Action Assembly" where students showcased their learnings through mime, drama, dance, and insightful facts, resonating the urgency to protect our planet. This initiative exemplified their determination to inspire action within the community.
Through this journey, our young changemakers have proven that with awareness, creativity, and collaboration, even small actions can lead to meaningful change. Their dedication to safeguarding our Earth shines as a beacon of hope for a sustainable future.
