PYP 3 Field Trip to Perur Patteeswarar Temple

Stepping into the past to uncover stories carved in stone, our IB PYP 3 learners embarked on a meaningful field trip to the Perur Patteeswarar Temple as part of their inquiry into the IB PYP transdisciplinary theme Where We Are in Place and Time. Surrounded by ancient architecture and intricate sculptures, students explored the essence of early civilizations and the cultural values that shaped them. With curiosity and wonder, they observed how art, design, and symbolism offer powerful insights into how people lived, believed, and expressed themselves. This hands-on learning experience nurtured attributes of being inquirers, reflective, and open-minded, while enhancing their research and thinking skills. It was a journey that brought history to life and deepened their appreciation for the legacy of the past.
