Guest Lecture Mr. Amar

Our IB PYP3-5 students participated in an engaging guest lecture on How We Express Ourselves, led by film studies expert Mr. Amar and theater artist Mr. Aditya. The session explored various art forms, literature, acting, and media, focusing on the technical aspects of storytelling such as lighting, sound design, cinematography, set design, and editing. Students learned how acting techniques, scriptwriting, and directing shape narratives, and how digital tools like chroma keying, sound mixing, and editing software bring artistic visions to life. Discussions emphasized the synergy of technical and artistic elements in creating impactful stories. The session inspired students to reflect on their creative expressions and appreciate the role of technical skills in the arts, fostering critical thinking and cultural understanding.
