Field Trip to FM Hub Digital Recording Studio

Our IB PYP-4 and PYP-5 students had an enriching field trip to FM Hub Digital Recording Studio at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, connecting to their unit How We Express Ourselves. PYP-4 students, exploring digital media, enjoyed hands-on learning at The Green Screen Video Floor, experimenting with virtual backgrounds and video production techniques to understand how technology enhances creative communication. They also explored the Audio Recording Studio, gaining insights into sound recording and editing for multimedia presentations. PYP-5 students, investigating global art forms, found inspiration in various artistic techniques. At the Preview Theatre, they reviewed and critiqued multimedia projects, linking their learning to digital media and global art forms. The trip deepened their inquiry and highlighted the transformative power of media and technology in creative expression.
