IB PYP Digital Exhibition - Moving Boulders

The IB PYP Exhibition is a culminating learning experience in the final year of the International Baccalaureate PYP which is Grade 5 at Manchester International School. Pandemic and its impact has created a complete shift in the way we learn, think and function. Often we think in terms of what obstacles or challenges we face, rather than the opportunities. The Covid-19 might have stolen students of the opportunity to physically showcase their amazing inquiry to the school community. However, Manchesterians left no stone unturned in expressing their creativity and enthusiasm to adapt, learn and celebrate differently.

The young minds of Manchester demonstrated their skills, knowledge and social responsibility to serve the globe in attaining the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals. Developing global competencies has always been one of the most important goals in Manchester. Some of the global goals students addressed include Zero Hunger, Clean Water and Sanitation, Peace and Justice, Gender Equality, Quality Education, Climate Action and Life on Land.

The students engaged in collaborative in-depth inquiry demonstrating independence and responsibility for their own learning and taking action as a result of their own learning.
